MALACAÑANG is in high spirits, with reelected President George W. Bush calling President Arroyo before the weekend, apparently clearing the air between the Philippines and the United States.
The President’s spokesman and press secretary, Ignacio Bunye, said Bush called Mrs. Arroyo on Wednesday at around 8 p.m. and they talked on the phone for 10 minutes.
