Malaysian court frees former deputy PM

The US and the Philippines have begun month-long exercises in preparation for a massive “anti-narco-terrorism” campaign in the Southeast Asian country. The unprecedented exercises between the two countries, involve 10 US narcotics experts and 100 US and Filipino soldiers, as well as other officials from both countries. The exercise is being held at Camp Bado Danwa in La Trinidad, the Philippine Military Academy, and the Public Safety Regional Training School is Davao City. “The war on drugs is a fight for everyone and a better-trained police officer and agent only makes our communities safer against the intimidation and fears brought on by drugs,” read a press statement issued from Camp Dangwa.
