Prime Minister John Howard says the passing of legislation for the US free trade agreement through Parliament is a fantastic outcome for Australia.
The legislation has been passed during a special Friday sitting of the Senate, after the Government agreed to two Labor amendments on media content rules and the cost of medicines.
