An earthquake of magnitute 6.7 rattled parts of Indonesia on Sunday and was even felt in neighbouring Singapore.

The United States Geological Survey website said the quake, which struck at 1729 local time (1029 GMT) was "strong" and located in the Indonesia's Kepulauan Mentawai region.
