KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia's leader urged the United States to drop any plans it might have to attack Iran, saying even US allies would oppose such a move by Washington.

US President George W. Bush said last week that his administration won't rule out using military force against Iran's nuclear installations, which it believes are being used to try to produce nuclear weapons. Iran says its nuclear programme is for energy production.
