President Bush's approval ratings on the issues widely perceived as his strengths -- the handling of the fight against terrorism and the war in Iraq -- have sunk to record lows in California, a Field Poll released today shows.
As the president prepares for his 13th visit to California, the polls show just 36 percent of state voters approve of Bush's handling of the Iraq war -- compared with 61 percent who disapprove. |
