Reich Resigns as Bush Administration Latin America Adviser

Reich provided ``good judgment and advice'' for President George W. Bush's policies in Latin America, such as a commission recommending how to ``hasten the day when Cuba will be a free country,'' Rice said in a statement. She said she accepted Reich's resignation ``with regret.''


 

D.C.: Number of Homeless Up Slightly for 4th Year: The fourth annual point-in-time survey counted 14,537 homeless men, women and children -- up 1.8 percent from last year's survey by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.
