There is growing condemnation of President George Bush's secret wiretapping of US citizens, with calls for an investigation into the program that is being called unlawful and legal challenges to it.
On Tuesday, two separate lawsuits were filed against the program - one by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the other by the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR). Both say the president overstepped his powers and violated the Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution, which guarantees against unreasonable searches and seizures.
