CAN: Venezuela Will Stay if US Goes

Caracas, Apr 25 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela on Monday expressed willingness to analyze its withdrawal from the Community of Andean Nations (CAN) if Colombia and Peru reconsider their signing of free trade agreements with the United States.

President Hugo Chavez expressed his determination in response to a letter from Bolivian President Evo Morales, who requested a CAN summit to analyze the crisis that resulted from the signing of the free trade agreements.
