Highlights of the main peace agreement between Khartoum and SPLM/A

The Khartoum government and southern rebel Sudan People's Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A) are expected to reach an agreement by December 31 that would include a series of protocols to settle sticky issues that spurred the conflict in 1983.
