Rebels in Darfur have kidnapped 22 health workers involved in a vaccination program.
Sudanese Government officials says the workers were seized by the Justice and Equality Movement in an area near the South Darfur state capital of Nyala. There has been no independent confirmation of the claim.
Another group of eight Sudanese nationals working for the Red Crescent and the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) were kidnapped over the weekend in Darfur. Full Story>> |
