governments includes an element of external financing, but much
as their nationals appreciate donor funding of development
projects, they are fed up with reports about Finance ministers
who globetrot with a begging bowl that eventually inflates the
economy.
African women's declaration due Tuesday: The consultative meeting on gender co-organised by the African Union (AU) and Femmes Africa
Solidarity, an NGO, is expected to adopt Tuesday in Addis Ababa a
declaration to be submitted to African leaders during their AU
summit slated for 6-8 July in the Ethiopian capital.
