TWENTY-eight more persons were feared killed at the weekend as fresh trouble erupted in Demsa Local Council of Adamawa State. This is in spite of the presence of security agents deployed to the area following last week's clash where two persons died.
About 2,500 persons were rendered homeless in the latest hostility which was blamed on Fulani cattle rearers who allegedly launched a "reprisal attack." There are also fears that the trouble may spread to the neighbouring councils. Full Story>> |
